PinPilot Terms of Service
What PinPilot is
PinPilot is a private, internal application built and operated by Boi Boi to prepare, schedule and publish Boi Boi's own social media content and to read the performance of that content. It is not a public product, it is not offered for sale or subscription, and it has no users other than its operator.
Accounts
PinPilot does not offer accounts to the public and has no sign-up. The only credentials it holds are those of the Boi Boi accounts its operator authorizes it to act on.
Use of platform APIs
PinPilot connects to third-party platforms, including YouTube and TikTok, only through their official APIs and only with authorization granted by the owner of the account being connected. It accesses only data belonging to Boi Boi's own accounts. It does not access, collect, store, or process data about any other user of those platforms.
YouTube. PinPilot's YouTube integration uses YouTube API Services to upload videos the operator chooses to Boi Boi's own channel, set their thumbnails, add them to the channel's own playlists, and read the channel's performance figures. By using PinPilot's YouTube features, the operator agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
TikTok. PinPilot's TikTok integration reads the connected account's own profile information. Its Direct Post feature, which would post videos the operator chooses to Boi Boi's own TikTok account, is in testing and has not passed its live test. PinPilot does not read TikTok analytics. Use of TikTok is subject to TikTok's own terms.
Use of each platform remains subject to that platform's own terms and policies. Nothing here overrides them.
Availability and warranty
PinPilot is provided as-is for its operator's own use, with no warranty of availability, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose. It may change or stop working at any time without notice.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, this page is updated and the effective date above is revised.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable there.
